First, this text is an excellent reference tool for females AND males. Secondly, it's a friendly read. My friend was having "female" troubles. vulvodynia information -
I purchased this book as my daughter was diagnosed with possible vulvodynia, which I had never heard of. My City's library does not even have one book on this subject! The book was recommended to me by a vulvar specialist at the University of Michigan. In the chapter on pain, Dr. Stewart provides all the latest information on this little known and understood syndrome of vulvodynia, including recommended treatment. I have not yet had an opportunity to read the remainder of the book, but look forward to doing so.
