Be careful!! -
According to my doctor, I had an allergic reaction to this stuff. I now have a much worse rash than the original poison ivy rash. Although the scrub and spray did seem to rid me of the poison ivy, I now am on medication for a worse rash.

My understanding is that you're supposed to use the scrub right after exposure, not when you see the results of the exposure (blistering, etc). I have a lot of poison ivy in my yard, and frequently come into contact with it when I'm weeding. I've been using this scrub religiously immediately after weeding (even if I think I managed to avoid the poison ivy), and the only time I've had problems since I started using it was one time when I was in a hurry and didn't scrub very well. I apparently missed a spot, and had a small itchy blister there. When used as directed, this product appears to work really well. What I particularly like is that I don't need to wear long-sleeve shirts when weeding now, which is a big deal in our hot, humid southern summers.
I did use the spray when I missed that spot, and I think it did help with the itching.
I bought my original tube of the scrub at another store for $30.00 so I'm very happy to find it here at Amazon for less than $10!

I've recently become a poison ivy magnet. I somehow get it every summer without fail, and nothing has ever worked to ease the symptoms aside from time.
Until now. I was in Florida on vacation for a couple weeks and came in contact with the dreaded plant. I noticed the symptoms on my leg and knew exactly what it was, and of course I didn't want to be covered with itchy, oozy, red bumps on my vacation. In desperation, I went to a local drug store and picked up a Cortaid poison ivy treatment kit.
It claims to instantly remove the poison, but I was skeptical since I've tried everything in the past to no avail. I applied the abrasive scrub to the affected area, rinsed it off as directed, and applied the spray. Keep in mind, I only did this once.
The next day, the redness turned to a light pink. The bumps had completely flattened, and the itching was far less than before. Having fun on my vacation, I didn't remember to use the product again. Within a few days, it was completely healed, with only one application! I now have plenty left to use next time I get poison ivy, unlike many products that don't even work and are more expensive.
It normally takes weeks for poison ivy to heal on me, and it always spreads. This product instantly stopped it in its tracks and brought on the healing process. I consider this a poison ivy miracle cure!
